Khoya is common in Indian homes, and many dogs wait near the kitchen hoping for a bite. Khoya should be zero as a planned treat. As a general feeding rule, treats and extras should remain a small part of your dog's daily calories. The main diet should still be complete and balanced.

When to avoid it

Avoid for all dogs, especially diabetic, overweight, pancreatitis-prone, or lactose-sensitive dogs.
