Dog Boarding Terms & Conditions

By booking or using boarding/hostel services at Dogsvilla, the pet owner agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Vaccination & Health Requirements

  • All dogs must be healthy and fit for boarding before admission.
  • Owners must disclose complete information regarding medical conditions, allergies, medications, injuries, surgeries, seizures, aggression history, anxiety, food habits, and behavioural concerns.
  • Mandatory/recommended vaccinations include Rabies, DHPPi, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough.
  • Dogs showing signs of contagious illness, ticks/fleas infestation, vomiting, diarrhoea, weakness, fever, or skin infection may be refused admission.
  • Female dogs in heat may not be accepted for boarding for safety and hygiene reasons.
  • Dogsvilla reserves the right to refuse boarding if a pet is considered medically unsafe or poses risk to other pets.

2. Food & Feeding Policy

  • Owners must clearly inform Dogsvilla about feeding schedule, food quantity, allergies, food aggression, and special diet requirements.
  • Food charges may be separate depending on package selected.
  • If owner-provided food finishes during the stay, Dogsvilla may provide suitable food at additional cost.
  • Dogsvilla is not responsible for temporary appetite changes due to environmental adjustment or stress.
  • Fresh drinking water is available at all times.

3. Behaviour & Aggression Policy

  • Owners must disclose any history of biting, aggression, separation anxiety, escape attempts, excessive barking, or resource guarding.
  • Dogsvilla specialises in handling anxious and difficult dogs; however, safety remains the top priority.
  • Additional handling charges may apply for aggressive or difficult dogs.
  • Dogsvilla reserves the right to isolate, restrict group play, or discontinue boarding if a dog becomes unsafe to handle.
  • Dogs may be kept in solo play or separate handling routines for safety reasons.

4. Boarding Risks & Liability

  • Boarding involves interaction with new environments, staff, sounds, smells, and other dogs.
  • While every care is taken, minor risks may exist including stress, mild stomach upset, minor scratches, play injuries, or excitement-related behaviour.
  • Dogsvilla shall not be held responsible for stress-triggered illness, pre-existing medical conditions, allergic reactions, natural medical complications, or undisclosed behavioural issues.
  • In case of medical emergency, Dogsvilla may contact a veterinarian. Veterinary expenses shall be borne by the owner.
  • Dogsvilla is authorised to seek emergency veterinary treatment if the owner is unreachable.

5. Socialisation & Play Policy

  • Group play is allowed only for dogs considered socially suitable by Dogsvilla staff.
  • Dogsvilla reserves the right to separate dogs at any time for safety purposes.
  • Aggressive, dominant, fearful, or overexcited dogs may not be allowed in group activities.
  • Safety decisions made by Dogsvilla staff shall be final.

6. Check-In & Check-Out Policy

  • Boarding charges are calculated based on check-in time, check-out time, package selected, and additional services used.
  • Delayed pickup beyond booked duration may result in additional boarding charges.
  • Owners are requested to arrive on time during check-in and check-out.
  • Valid owner identification may be required during admission or pickup.

7. Personal Belongings

  • Owners may provide leash, collar, bed, blanket, toys, food, or medication.
  • Dogsvilla is not responsible for loss, damage, chewing, or misplacement of personal items brought for the pet.
  • Only neck collars may be allowed inside the facility unless otherwise approved.

8. Hygiene & Facility Rules

  • Dogsvilla maintains hygiene and sanitisation protocols throughout the facility.
  • Kennels, play areas, bowls, and common spaces are regularly cleaned and disinfected.
  • Dogs with contagious illness, severe ticks/fleas, or infectious conditions may be isolated or refused admission.
  • CCTV-monitored premises are maintained for operational transparency and safety.

9. Cancellation, Refund & Payment Policy

  • Advance booking payment may be required for boarding reservations.
  • Boarding bookings may be subject to limited slot availability.
  • Refunds may not be applicable for early pickup, no-show bookings, last-minute cancellations, or unused boarding days.
  • Promotional packages and loyalty programs are non-transferable unless approved by management.
  • Full payment must be completed before pet release.

10. Photography & Media Consent

  • Dogsvilla may capture photographs or videos of pets during boarding for social media, customer updates, marketing, or educational purposes.
  • Owners who do not wish their pet to appear in media must inform the staff in writing before admission.

11. Right to Refuse or Remove Boarding

Dogsvilla reserves the right to refuse or discontinue boarding for unsafe behaviour, contagious illness, repeated escape attempts, excessive aggression, undisclosed medical conditions, abusive owner behaviour, or non-payment issues.

12. Owner Declaration

By using Dogsvilla boarding services, the owner confirms that all information provided is true and complete, the pet is medically fit for boarding, they understand the risks involved in boarding environments, they authorise Dogsvilla staff to handle the pet professionally and safely, and they agree to all terms and conditions mentioned above.
